Water Feature Concept             next

The Water Feature design concept must portray an aesthetically harmonious and naturally balanced decoration that will complement a balcony or garden, overlooking a skyline of scenery. The choices of scenery for the backdrop will be given after submitting the competition registration.

It is COMPULSORY to incorporate a water feature into the design concept, in addition to utilizing flowers, plants and other materials for the creation of a beautiful balcony or garden. All potted plants & fresh flowers must be maintained throughout the 10 days exhibition.

• A “Title” is to be adopted with a brief description ( in less than 30 words ) and will be displayed on the description card.

• Decorate the assigned zone with 70% of softscape of fresh cut flowers and plants, 30% of hardscape with the accent of a WATER FEATURE.

• Plants, Props & backdrop can be brought in to the designated booth on 11th June 2014 ( Wednesday )

• Displays need to be fully completed between   9.00am - 6.00pm on 12th June 2014 ( Thursday )

• Judging will commence on 13th June 2014 ( Friday )

• Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained

• Winners will be announced on the official opening on 14th June 2014 ( Saturday )

• Participants need to dismantle and clear away ALL their design and displayed materials on 23rd June 2014 ( Monday ) between 9.00am ~ 5.00pm.

Winners will receive a trophy, certificate and cash prizes of RM 1,500.00, RM 800.00 and RM 500.00 for the Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively.
