5. Potted Garden Design ~ "Orchid Harmony"
The objective is to create a design impact for a specific space like in an office or at home. Participants have a choice of their own containers, pots, dish, bowl or any form of structure of any dimension in achieving a distinctive design concept. Condition of flowers and other materials shall be monitored and maintained to maximize its lifespan for the 10 days exhibition.
• A " Title " is to be adopted and be displayed beside the design.
• The base of the design should NOT exceed 600mm width.
• Potted Garden MUST comprise the following: 70% of fresh material - Potted orchids with a minimum combination in 3 different genera of Orchids totalling minimum of 8 pots with one or more varieties of ornamental plants. 30% of rocks, structure and other miniature accessories are allowed.
• Displays need to be fully completed by 7.00pm on 20th June.
• Judging will commence on 21st June morning.
• The judges' decision is final and no comments will be entertained.
• Winners will be announced on the official opening on, 22nd June 2013.
• The participants need to dismantle and clear away ALL their design and
displayed materials on 1st July 2013, Morning.

Winners will receive a trophy, certificate and cash prizes of RM 300, RM 200 and RM 100 for the Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively and discretionary Merit Award will receive a certificate and cash prize of RM 100. |
